coconut oil

Coconut oil (Copra Oil)

is an edible extract from the meat of a ripe coconut harvested from the coco palm (Cocos nucifera)

Coconut oil has been popular in use since the 18th century. It was widely used to make food products and soaps, that was until after WW2 when the nation’s connections were severed. Soy became the preferred product. When investigated further we find an article about soy in good housekeeping warning of the dangers of soy. “Soy, it turned out, contains estrogen-like compounds called isoflavones. And some findings suggested that these compounds could promote the growth of some cancer cells, impair female fertility, and mess with thyroid function”

While this sinks in..

Why would the US discontinue using a product that is natural and known to heal many ailments including hair loss and opt to use something like soy that good housekeeping tells us to promote the growth of some cancer cells and impairs female fertility? So how many products have we been bombarded with that used soy grown by farmers in rotation with corn in mass production since the effort to begin reducing the world’s population with efforts from WW2? We have healthy alternatives in our backyards like cocos nucifera, especially if you live in the tropics.

Native Growing: Imports

tropical islands: Puerto Rico, Cuba, Central America, and the Pacific Islands.

For those with thinning or fine hair, coconut oil helps slow down hair loss by penetrating deep into your hair shaft to prevent protein loss, which in turn prevents breakage. When applied to your scalp, it simultaneously moisturizes and removes build-up around your hair follicles to jumpstart hair growth.
