Peppermint oil is derived from the peppermint plant. The peppermint plant is actually a hybrid between the spearmint and watermint plant. Because peppermint is the mix of two mint, it contains a higher content of menthol (40% as opposed to 0.05%)

Uses: Peppermint oil is good for the hair and scalp. It helps with dryness, itching, and other scalp problems.
