During this stage budding begins. The budding loc stage varies for different hair types, however this stage can last anywhere for 4-16 weeks. During this stage your locs will begin to bud (tangle or clump into knots.) The budding will begin at the root and after about 6 weeks you should be able to feel budding near the root of your baby loc. You may notice that your locs are fuzzy but there is a definite shape to them. This begins your transition to the next loc stage. Stage 3!
